The Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation (BWAF) is pleased to announce that it will host its annual Leadership Awards Gala honoring six firms and individuals on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Prince George Ballroom, 15 East 27th Street in New York City.
Contributors, supporters and friends of the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation will gather for a specially curated experience in celebration of firms and individuals supporting, promoting and retaining female talent in the design and construction fields. Richard T. Anderson, president emeritus of the New York Building Congress will serve as the master of ceremonies for the evening’s program. The 2017 Leadership Awards will be presented at the gala in the following categories:
Foundation Award: Gregory A. Kelly, P.E. President and CEO, U.S. and Latin America, WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff
Keystone Award: Raymond P. Daddazio, President, Thornton Tomasetti
Pillar Award: Marilyn Jordan Taylor, FAIA, Professor of Architecture & Urban Design and Former Dean, University of Pennsylvania School of Design
Oculus Award: Dolores Hayden, Professor of Architecture, Urbanism and American Studies, Yale University
Scroll Award: Cathleen McGuigan, Editor-in-Chief, Architectural Record
Tribune Award: Rosa Sheng, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Senior Associate, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architects, President-Elect, AIA San Francisco
